HIMURA KENSHIN
Height: 158 cm
Weight: 48 kg
Bloodtype: AB
Born: 6/20/1849 (Kaei 2)
Weapons Used : Sakaba Tou (Sword), Sakaba Tou "Shinuchi"
Fighting Style: Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu
Kenshin is...indescribable...He is probably tthe greatest swordsmen of his time (oh, wait. There's his master Seijuro Hiko...If you think Kenshin is good, wait until you see this guy!). During the revolution, he had been a detached and relentless assassin, an efficient killing machine, but afterwards, he became kinder and gentler as a rurouni. Still, there are times when the "hitokiri" part of him will surface. For example, during the fight between him and Saitoh, he was on the verge of becoming hitokiri again.

When this happened, his eyes turned yellow and there is this focus in him that just screams killer. ^_^ I would have to say that is one of the best fights. Kenshin's dilemma to keep from ever killing again and surrendering to the hitokiri side of himself left me on the edge of my seat. The fight between Kenshin and Shishio was awesome, but for some reason I still like that first fight between him and Saitoh. I don't know...when Shishio blew up, I burst out laughing because it was so unexpected. T_TMoving on, I think Kenshin is one of the best well developed manga/anime characters there are. There is just something about him that is so solid. He's not just the hero all the time. He's got very human characteristics and well, you can't exactly relate to him, but you can understand him. ^_^ (After all, he IS practically a legend.) I would have to say that Kaoru is extremely lucky to find such an awesome guy. (Now, why can't there be any gentle/wise/silly/sword-weilding vagabonds who can do the laundry, wash the dishes, and cook in this day and age? If you know of one, e-mail Ayame!)

Isn't this picture funny?! Ahh! What's that coming out of his nose/mouth? Eek! (Seriously. When did this happen to my poor Kenshin?)
